Recycling can reduce dependence on landfill, conserve resources and protect the environment from plastic pollution and greenhouse gas emissions
What we Recycle
As part of our efforts to treat waste most efficiently, KCARP recycles the different types of waste materials such as plastics, cardboard, metals, textiles, etc. We use both modern technology and human intervention to sort out these materials for the recycling process to begin.
Sorting of Plastics
Different types of plastics move from the ballistic separator to the 2D and 3D cabins. Here, the plastics are further sorted according to types with human intervention. Sorted plastics include HDPEs (High-Density Polyethylene), LDPs (Low-Density Plastics), and PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate).

Processing of Plastics
Separated plastics undergo washing, extrusion, melting and pelletizing. The Pellets are then bagged and sold to plastic manufacturing industries as raw materials for the production of plastic materials such as waste bins, plastic chairs, bowls etc.

Baled Materials
Other plastics, metals and paper are sorted by type and baled. This are also sold to the metals and paper industries as raw materials.
