Let's Talk

Composting

KCARP uses ultra-modern technology to process organics from Municipal Solid Waste to 100% organic compost.

Transfer of Waste to the Terminator

Waste tipped from the receiving bay is sent to the primary sorting cabin with the help of a wheel loader and the hopper. Human intervention helps to sort out the waste, where unwanted materials such as batteries, car engines, tired-up waste glass, etc. are removed before the terminator breaks up the waste for further processing.

Transfer of Waste to the trommel screen

Another conveyor moves the broken-up waste to the trommel screen. Here, all the 80-mm organic waste drops down. A magnetic separator helps attract and remove all metals from the MSW. The process continues to the second trommel screen.

Transfer of Organics to Tunnel Zero

All the organics are then conveyed using an overhead conveyor system which lands in tunnel zero.

Compost curing and screening

Here, the compost’s nutritional levels are examined. To make sure there are no heavy metals in our compost, we also perform heavy metal analysis. We make sure compost has the proper amounts of NPK.

Benefits of Our Organic Compost

We are able to recycle food and other organic waste into compost to provide a range of environmental benefits

Healthy plant growth

Our Compost provides nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium to help plants grow strong and healthy producing good yields. Our compost can also be used for agricultural purposes

Improves soil health

KCARP organic Compost improves soil structure, which helps plants grow and develop roots. It also helps soil retain moisture, which can be especially helpful in dry areas.

Weed supression

Our Compost can be used as mulch to protect plant roots and discourage weeds.

Soil erosion control

KCARP Organic Compost can help prevent soil erosion and conserve soil structure.

Land reclaimation

Our Compost is also good for land, especially on lands that have been depleted by mining activities

water conservation

KCARP Compost improves soil’s water-holding capacity, reducing the amount of watering needed.
